I really should be sleeping right now since I have to get up at like five, but I just finished watching Minority Report and eating chocolate chip cookies and I'm too jazzed up to go to bed. The zoo was fun. The pandas were cute. My legs are tired.
My friend Alice just got home from the Iowa Young Writers' Workshop and she's sad to be gone but I'm a little envious. It's not that I'm not excited to go to New York. I just miss home I guess. It also feels strange to be going directly from one trip to the next with no time in between. Oh well... it'll be easier when I get there. Anticipation is always worse than action.
I'm going to go get my clothes out of the dryer now.
