Arrival Two
If you don't know who or what someone or something is, click the little [?] next to his/her/its name. Okay, and now I'm in Brooklyn. Um... what's to say? Very sleepy, people nice, house beautiful and old, Metro close, dog cute and old. It's nice to see Ashley again. Missing home a little, but doing alright overall. Ate delicious omelette for breakfast.
Tomorrow Jessica [?]
is taking us on a little tour of work and other important places, but we won't be doing any actual working, which is good news to me.Rundown of new people: Betsey is sort of analogous to Nelda-- boss and hostess. However, she's out of town until, I think, tomorrow, so the people in the house are her husband Mark, a doctor. (Ashley: "What kind of doctor are you?" Mark: "A quack." Teehee. "Actually, I'm an internist." Me: "Oh, we're internists, too!" Come on, that's funny.) Also Betsey's daughter Lydia, who graduated from Brown University. There's another daughter, Rachel, who's doing voter registration in Arizona right now so Ashley and I have her room. And there's Erin, a very cute but pitifully old dog.
And now I really need a nap and I doubt there'll be any other news today, so... later.
